Davaughn is a playful and spirited 10-year-old who has a love for numbers, adventures, and roasting marshmallows. The perfect day for him means spending hours outside; playing with his family until his clothes are dirty and he is filled with joy. This made Davaughn’s wish a no-brainer: a backyard makeover to have a space to create memories right at home!
 
Born with a blood disorder, Davaughn’s life has consisted of countless doctor’s appointments, treatments, and hospital visits. Despite these challenges, his positivity and playfulness shine brightly. When things feel tough, the thought of playing outside with his family gives him strength. His wish for a transformed backyard was more than just a physical makeover. His wish was to create a place where he could just be a kid.
 
This wish became a reality, turning his backyard into an oasis of fun! The beautifully landscaped yard now has a playset where Davaughn can climb, swing, and slide for hours on end! A cozy fire pit dedicated to his love of marshmallows promises many s'mores to be made.
 
Now, Davaughn has the perfect backyard to match his adventurous and playful spirit. It’s a space where he can forget about hospitals and focus on what he loves most: playing, exploring, and enjoying life with his family. For Davaughn, this backyard isn’t just a makeover—it’s the beginning of countless cherished memories.
