Nora's wish to go to Hawaii
This has been more than a fun vacation for our family. It represents coming full circle back to a time where she can run healthy & carefree in the sand.

Nora’s wish was full of heartfelt moments and adventure! Wish kid Nora, from Orange County, had the adventure of a lifetime – the perfect way to celebrate being in remission from leukemia.
Having been in treatments since the age of four, 10-year-old Nora was ready for her wish to go to Hawaii to be the start of her next chapter. After years of grueling treatments and uncertainty, Nora wanted to be able to enjoy her wish in good health. The beach has always been her favorite place so while on her trip Nora took time to pose with a photo of herself at age four. The photo, which shows Nora on the beach, was taken a week before she started feeling sick and found out she had cancer. This new photo is the cover photo for Nora’s new, healthy chapter ahead.
Her mom shares, “When Make-A-Wish asked her what she wanted, it was to go back to the beach. This has been more than a fun vacation for our family. It represents coming full circle back to a time where she can run healthy and carefree in the sand. We are all truly grateful!”
In addition to cherishing her time spent on the beach, Nora and her family enjoyed seeing waterfalls, ziplining, and eating delicious, sweet treats. Nora got to take in all the beauty of Hawaii from the tallest mountains to the iconic black sand beaches celebrating her wish come true!
