Investing in His Future
The teachers and the school were flexible with Jackson, and they gave him all the extra time he needed. Jackson, known for his sharp intellect, managed to finish high school while simultaneously battling cancer.
In college, Jackson has plans to pursue a degree in international business. "He has been an investor ever since he was a little guy," his mom, Jodee, said. "He loves investing and travel at the same time. This is just a marriage of those two interests."
At his one-year checkup with the oncologist, Jackson was cleared for travel and anything else he wanted to do. He's fully recovered, active again and excited to take on all academic challenges.
Jackson used his heartfelt wish to request tuition to the College of Idaho, a major investment in his future. He chose the College of Idaho because they allow students to personalize their learning, and he liked their Peak Program which allows students to get a major and three minors. Plus, Jackson was thrilled to be able to stay in Idaho!
