Turners Falls resident runs virtual Boston Marathon on behalf of Make-A-Wish
A Turners Falls resident participated in the virtual 2020 Boston Marathon on September 7 as a member of Team Make-A-Wish. Gray Davidson Carroll, a 19-year-old Greenfield Community College student, began the 26.2 mile run in Hadley and crossed the finish line at Montague Center.

Make-A-Wish helped make a birthday extra special for a young Lunenburg girl who has been undergoing treatment for leukemia. Shelby Wallace turned 5 years old last week and to celebrate, Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island surprised her with a playset.

Despite pandemic, Make-A-Wish still manages to make dreams come true
A Lincoln family has been quarantined since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic to keep its younger member, who was diagnosed with a rare condition, out of harm’s way. Thankfully, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has helped rid some of their cabin fever by granting Skyla’s wish and donating a swingset to the family.
