TJ's Wish to "Wish it Forward"
What an inspiring day of care! We were honored to work alongside Truist and Greg Olsen in giving back to a community that means so much to us. In February, we were able to grant local wish kid Adin’s wish because of fellow wish kid TJ. TJ’s wish? To “wish it forward”. Thanks to TJ’s special request and with the help of corporate sponsor, Truist, and NFL great, Greg Olsen, Adin’s wish to go to Super Bowl LVII came true! The surprise wish reveal was absolutely epic, and the special moment was even captured by Truist. TJ’s wish did more than just provide an unforgettable wish trip for Adin and his family, it inspired Adin to work hard to get out of his wheelchair and begin walking with assistance by the time his trip rolled around. Adin’s determination and hard work even continued after his wish trip, and TJ’s and Adin’s stories exemplify how, together, we create life-changing wishes for local wish kids with critical illnesses - and why we work so hard to grant hope every day.
