Volunteer
Make-A-Wish® Northeast New York is a grassroots organization that depends on our volunteers to fulfill our mission. We currently have more than 500 volunteers who help us grant the wishes of children in the 518 and 838 area codes.
Work with a child to determine his or her heartfelt wish. It’s one of our most emotionally demanding volunteer positions, but also the most rewarding.
Meet and welcome wish families at the airport at the onset and conclusion of their wish experience.
Represent Make-A-Wish at various functions and community events, sharing the vision and mission of our chapter.
Work on committees, help on event day and participate in events.
Assist with various projects in our office, from research and data to other duties.
