Boilin' in the Boro presented by Independence Bank, benefiting Make-A-Wish®, Western Kentucky Region, is coming to the Kentucky Legend® Pier just outside the Owensboro Convention Center on Saturday, June 19th! Plan your night out along the beautiful Ohio River in downtown Owensboro and help make wishes come true for local children with critical illnesses. The evening will include a cocktail hour, live entertainment, a delicious low country boil, inspiring wish stories, and exciting live and silent auction packages. Join us for this safe and fun event and make a difference for Kentucky kids! Together, we can shine a light of hope and joy to children in their darkest days, bringing them strength for tomorrow.
While many wishes involving travel and large gatherings have been temporarily paused due to COVID-19, Make-A-Wish is still granting hundreds of wishes for things like shopping sprees, room makeovers, and playsets. Our dedicated staff and volunteers are committed to supporting each wish family to determine all the wish possibilities we can safely grant now for families who choose not to wait for a wish.
