Amanda Osborne Promoted to Chief Development Officer at Make-A-Wish South Carolina

Make-A-Wish South Carolina is proud to announce the promotion of Amanda Osborne to the newly created role of Chief Development Officer. Since joining the organization in 2019, Amanda has been instrumental in driving the chapter’s growth, leading fundraising through the challenges of a pandemic, and increasing annual cash revenue by 27%. She has expanded and integrated the Development and Marketing teams, elevated major events like Wish Night and the Trailblaze Challenge, revitalized regional donor programs, and secured transformational gifts, including the chapter’s first memorial endowment fund. Her leadership has positioned Make-A-Wish South Carolina to achieve over $5M in annual public support, ensuring sustainability and greater mission impact.

Misty Farmer, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish South Carolina, shared her enthusiasm for Amanda’s promotion: “When I interviewed Amanda, I envisioned someone who could elevate our development strategy, establish a strong major gift and planned giving program, and build a sustainable fundraising model. Amanda has exceeded every expectation, transformed our development operation and achieved remarkable milestones for our organization.”

Amanda’s passion, vision, and dedication to the mission of Make-A-Wish have not only strengthened the chapter’s financial foundation but also deepened its ability to grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. Please join us in congratulating Amanda on this well-earned promotion as we look forward to her continued leadership in shaping the future of Make-A-Wish South Carolina.
