Workplace Giving
Workplace giving programs help provide employees with a simple way to donate to charities they care about.
There are many ways employees can contribute money, including through payroll deductions, joining workplace giving federations and participating in internal fundraising events. Workplace giving not only benefits the participating charities, but also employees who become engaged in giving back.

State and Local Public-Sector Campaigns
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of America participates in state and local public-sector workplace giving campaigns as a member of Children 1st – America’s Charities. These campaigns include public employees who are paid through public funds, such as state, municipal, county, public school, public college and university employees.
America’s Charities solicits approximately 4 million employees each year in 180 local public-sector campaigns, raising more than $4.5 million for its affiliated charities.
Look for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America on your pledge card to transform lives, one wish at a time.
United Way Program
If your company's employee giving program only includes the United Way, look for your local Make-A-Wish chapter in the listing of charities.
If your local chapter is not represented, look for a "donor option" line on your giving campaign form and write in "Make-A-Wish." Most local United Way programs allow donors to specify a charity other than one from their list of participants. Your local United Way will then forward your gift directly to Make-A-Wish.
